  • In this session, Professional Services will walk through the C# activity in Workflow Designer. We’ll review best practices on using this activity and how to implement it in new or existing workflows. This session is best suited for Workflow Administrators.
  • Join the PowerSchool Services team for a review of GL and JL structure, budgeting, finance / payroll postings, reporting, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, budget sets and so much more. Walk away with ideas that will allow you to examine your current financial operations and become more efficient and effective. This session is ideally suited for those who have any responsibility within the areas listed.
  • Join the PowerSchool Services team as they walk through Fixed Asset system which monitors assets from the time of acquisition to retirement. The fundamental goal of this subsystem is to provide a flexible and extensive data structure to meet the specific needs of the client. Fixed Assets is integrated with the Purchasing, Accounts Payable and General Ledger modules of PowerSchool BusinessPlus. The functions of this module include assignment of an asset ID, tracking a variety of information concerning the assets, posting of depreciation to the GL, and disposal. This session will focus on will focus on Depreciation, Additions, Transfers and Disposals will also be discussed. We will also look at GASB 87, GASB 96, and the guidance on bulk purchases. We will discuss how you can incorporate these changes into PowerSchool BusinessPlus.
  • The PowerSchool ERP (eFinancePlus) 23.10 version of the software offers great new functionality to import data and export in mass. This session will take a deep dive look at best practice methods for importing and exporting data from the system. Join us for an interactive workshop on all of the best practices, tips, and tricks for bringing all parts of the system together. This session best suits technical, financial, and human capital professionals.
  • In this session, PowerSchool Professional Services will take your purchasing and accounts payable teams through the Vendor Access Center. Learn how to efficiently manage your procurement process through this secure web-based portal where vendors can view purchase orders, submit an invoice, and check the status of a payment. This session is best suited for personnel who are interested in purchasing Vendor Access Center or those who would like a refresh on the capabilities of this module.
  • Join PowerSchool for a focused fixed assets at year-end training. This session will focus on depreciation regarding how to handle the new requirements around right to use leases, and subscription service accounting requirements. This session is best suited to accounting, financial, and procurement professionals.
  • For customers maintaining their own on-premises PowerSchool ERP environment we will review and discuss the hardware and virtualization requirements as well as best practices for monitoring and backing up the servers, applying updates, importing data to non-production servers for testing, and securing the PowerSchool ERP environment. This session is best suited for technical professionals and system administrators.
  • In just a few short years, superintendents, school business leaders and educators have been challenged with an unprecedented amount of change. As we continue to be challenged by the lingering effects of the pandemic such as decreasing enrollment, higher chronic absenteeism, teacher shortages, lower student achievement, we are also being challenged to do more with less. Each challenge requires a thoughtful approach and solutions to help those in our community and schools to adapt to that change while implementing new programs and improving those that currently exist. This interactive session will provide attendees with a foundational approach that can be used with any change initiative. Attendees will work through each of the steps to gain a holistic understanding of how to make change happen in their districts.

This interactive session will cover strategies for how your district can best utilize your business data proactively to maximize your operational efficiency.

Attend one of our half day sessions for only $325 each!  Times for the sessions will run 8:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Check-in for the pre-conference sessions will begin at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will be provided from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Registration is open to conference attendees and remotely for SNUG Membership districts.  

Please be aware of the following: 

1. If you would like to register for more than one session, you will need to register for each session separately to reserve your seat.

2. A Purchase Order or credit card payment is required to confirm your attendance. Your district will receive an invoice from PowerSchool to provide payment. POs for the pre-conference sessions should be made out to PowerSchool Group LLC, 150 Parkshore Dr., Folsom, CA 95630

3. Please note that you must register for your session prior to making payment. 

4. If you have any specific questions about the pre-conference, please contact

Cancellation Policy:  You will need to notify PowerSchool at least 10 days prior to event if you are unable to attend your registered session.  Otherwise your district will be invoiced for the session.  Also, cancellation of registration for the Conference itself does not cancel your registration for the Pre-Conference sessions.  Please email with any cancellation notifications or questions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Registration for a Pre-Conference session does not register you for the conference itself.
