    The SNUG Board will be meeting next week to plan the sessions at the annual conference.  The Board is soliciting topics that users would like presented and is always looking for presenters for topics.

    Automatic email renewal reminder notices were sent last week to all 'bundle administrators' from the SNUG website.  I have received a few questions about how/where to make your renewal or to generate an invoice for processing through your Accounting departments.

    When you log into the website, click on the ‘View Profile’ link on the top right of the screen.  This is the area where you can renew online.  You don’t have to make a payment online…the website system will allow you to email yourself an invoice from there if you like.  You do need to be logged in to activate.

    Reminder that the membership year is January 1 - December 31.  If you have any further questions regarding membership renewal, please contact Ami Fogle at afogle@bssd.net.

    The Baltimore 2011 User Conference was a great success!  We hope all attendee’s found the networking opportunities, classes, demonstrations and beautiful weather to their liking.  The SNUG Board is really pleased to see many people found the information for all product lines useful and everyone collaborating on ideas and processes.  We also want to send a special thanks to all of the conference sponsors for making this a successful event! We look forward to seeing everyone in Sacramento, CA for the 2012 National Conference.

     

    We would like to welcome our newest members to the Board of Directors Vickie Schultz, Ami Fogle and Phil Carolan.  We are excited to have your all as part of the leadership team and look forward to all of the great ideas you will bring to the table.  We are excited to see different product lines and their interests being represented on the board.   Vickie will be our newest President-Elect.     Finally, if you have not had a chance to visit our social conference website Eduplanet, we would recommend you take a moment to check it out.   There is some great information, presentations, videos, conference recaps and more on this website.   There is a lot of discussion going on in regards to the conference and many of the products and classes.   Visit http://snug.eduplanet21.com to check it out.   Access is granted for those of you who attended the conference this year. The website is a great way to showcase the conference to other people in your organization that did not have a chance to make it.

    A very happy 275 participants representing 30 different states across the country attending this year's SNUG conference!  Sessions are well attended and lots of good dialog and information being passed along.  Presentations will be posted on this site following this event and a new social learning site for members has been unveiled - www.snug.eduplanet21.com.  This site will facilitate continued communication well after conference has ended to enhance learning and collaborations!

    The National SNUG conference in Baltimore, MD is fast approaching. If you have not registered for the conference yet, there is still time to do so!     We are currently seeking members to fill three open board positions - President Elect, and two Director-at-Large positions.  Last week we sent an e-mail explaining the process and providing a nomination form.  If you did not receive this e-mail, please check under the Member Benefits tab.

    The SNUG Board and Sungard are meeting to plan the 2011 conference agenda. We are having some great discussions on how to meld the Client Conference.  Look for information soon on a tentative agenda.
