SunGard in the Garden Court

The reception was held in a breathtaking atmosphere, rich in beauty, history and incredible architecture.

And if that wasn't enough, we had fabulous food, ranging from a shellfish paella dish to lamb and amazing appetizers.  And there was one dessert that was unique and delightful.  It was a chocolate mousse served in a chocolate coffee cup, sprinkled with a cocoa of some sort.  Simply terrific!

AND, we all did an incredible amount of networking and the stars of the show on this night were Gary and Judy Sitton.  It was my pleasure to meet them for the first time tonight, but you could see some of the BSNUG old-time members stopping by and reliving some great memories with the couple.

I took a lot of pictures and will upload them later on when I find the cord to my camera (sorry, you guys are getting my cell phone specials).

I did get a pretty good pic of Carlie.  I love you Todd (he's my Client Relationship Manager), but Carlie beats you by a landslide in the homemade salsa department!

So, we had a beautiful evening with some more great memories to add to our arsenal of work, mixed with fun and both colleagues and friendship.  Thank you SunGard for a great reception, a wonderful opportunity for networking, and the work you put into this conference to support us.

Cameron was a first time conference attendee from SunGard (she's much prettier than Mark Johnson - although I did miss his smiling face!).  We got to see Jeane English, James Bennett and Frank LaVelle among other smiling faces.  And, I forgot to mention a big thank you to Matt for taking care of all of our AV needs today!  You're the best Matt (and not a bad sailor either!!).

Before I sign off for tonight, I am grateful to have this opportunity to serve the group, to blog at this conference and to be a part of this organization.  It won't be too long now, that we launch the new SNUG site, logo and the new Board that will be elected. And I will be moving down the SUGA road, a much better person, for having known all of you.

Good night.
